Each week veteran sports broadcaster and sports historian, Bernie Corbett, takes us on a journey with our athletic heroes spanning from the game they played then, to the games they play in life today.   Bernie uses his unique interviewing style as the ultimate "everyman" to provide the viewer/listener with the inside stories from their playing career and uncovers information on their lives as people.

Meet Bernie.

Bernard M. Corbett grew up in Stoneham, Mass. A 1978 graduate of Stoneham High, Corbett earned an undergraduate degree in political science from Boston University in ’83, and as a student began offering on-air color commentary during Terrier radio broadcasts.

Bernie is currently in his 35th year as the voice of Boston University Hockey and his 22nd year as the voice of Harvard Football. Bernie broadcast Boston University Football from 1983, 1984-97 first as color analyst and later doing play-by-play in 1996-97. 

For the last decade, Bernie has hosted the Inside series of podcasts covering three of the six D-1 college hockey leagues: Hockey East/ECAC/Atlantic Hockey along with Boston University Hockey and Harvard Football. He is also marking the 10th Anniversary of his SIRIUS/XM NHL Radio show Hockey On Campus this season. 

Corbett has authored or co-authored more than a dozen books, covering such topics as the Beanpot, Harvard-Yale football, the New York Giants, the Patriots, the Rolling Stones (title: “Fifty Licks’’) and a Pearl Jam “FAQ’’.
